NEW EQUIPMENT: We have new treadmills and elliptical machines now in the Fitness Center! Matrix Treadmill: Ultimate Deck System — absorbs impact for the best possible feel. Workout programs include: rolling hills, fat burn, 5k, target heart rate, ARMY PFT, Navy PFT, Marine PFT, Air Force PRT, Gerkin protocol. Also, includes a wireless data transmitter which provides continuous monitoring of product performance, drastically reducing down time. A personal fan is located on the console as well. Matrix Elliptical: 21" stride length accommodates all users for a comfortable, natural workout. Geocaching at The Reserve
If you are looking for a fun, active, outdoor adventure for the entire family to enjoy while here at The Reserve, Geocaching might be for you! Jokingly described as “a hobby of using multi-million dollar satellites to find pieces of tupperware in the woods”, geocaching involves the use of a GPS (global positioning system), or a smartphone or other tool with GPS capabilities, in order to find hidden caches (you guessed it pieces of tupperware or similar containers) through the use of their latitude and longitude coordinates. Geocaching has become a worldwide sport through the use of a website known as Geocaching.com. As of January 1, 2011 we will have our own geocaching program here at The Reserve. Information on this program is available through the links below; and is also available in hard copy in the Fitness Center. Please be cautious when seeking for caches, as those creatures we often associate with warmer weather are now getting out and about.
