Kathryn is originally from Asheville, NC and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She joined The Reserve Team in 2004, and has led The Foundation since 2007. Kathryn is an avid hiker and student of history and culture.

Jeff grew up in Clemson where he discovered his love for the outdoors early on, authoring the unpublished “Field Guide to the Snakes of South Carolina” while still in high school. After a rewarding attempt at a professional soccer career in England, Jeff returned stateside to finish degrees in statistics and biology and now teaches 6th grade science at nearby Pickens Middle School. Through The Reserve Community Foundation, he hosts a popular “Saturdays with Jeff” series to introduce our natural surroundings and helps to maintain the official trail guide for The Reserve at Lake Keowee.
