Golf Committee News:

1.  The Golf Committee would like your input about each golf event in which you have participated.  We will send out a survey after each event and hope that you will tell us your thoughts.  We want to know what you liked and for you to give us ideas for improvement.  Thanks in advance for taking the time.

2.  The Golf Committee has started a "Wish List" of golf-related issues that need attention.  We are considering these issues based on importance and ease of implementation.   As issues are addressed, we will communicate the changes/improvements to members.  Please feel free to bring your ideas or recommendations to the Golf Committee.  Your input is important to us.

3.  The Golf Committee has recently put up a bulletin board to post various subjects such as cart path rules for the day, pin position, sign-up sheets for upcoming events, etc.  We are including golf golf rules and "gentle reminders" concerning etiquette for all golfers to keep in mind.  Please respect your fellow golfers and your club rules in order to make our golf environment a fun place to play.

4.  Hats off to Sam Crowe and his staff for their efforts in changing the tee and pin positions for all Par 3 holes!  We have already received compliments from members that have noticed this change and like the variety of shot now required.

5.  For safety and insurance reasons, the Golf Committee will help enforce our bylaws, including this very important one: No one under 16 years old is allowed to drive a golf cart on the premises.  There have been recent reports of disregard for this rule on both the driving range and the golf course.  Please notify the pro shop if you see instances of disregard for any of our rules.

6.  The Golf Committee has created a separate Handicap Committee, which will initiate and maintain an education program regarding golf handicaps and all responsibilties concerning the handicap system.  The committee shall monitor all scores posted and make any adjustments when needed.
